Surprise...Surprise...Surprise!

       Mike and I were driving to the convenient store in Brooker, FL when we spotted an Eastern Garter snake crossing
the road just a little ways from the farm. I needed more photos to add to my website to show the many color phases of
Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis and decided to catch it.

      The next day I went to remove her from the bag to take some photographs when, surprise...surprise...surprise!!!
The bag was crawling with little ones. Twenty seven in all.
